A Story of Faith and Calling

I crushed Truck and a Christian testimony

A Christian Testimony of Faith and Calling to Ministry.

My Story

Though I’ve followed Christ for much of my life, I can’t claim to have lived perfectly, nor has my life always reflected what others might expect of a Christian walk. Like many believers, my journey has included seasons of growth, seasons of struggle, and moments where my faith felt tested in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. Yet even through those seasons, God’s hand of grace has remained steady, patient, and faithful.

On November 10th, 2023, the Lord graciously spared my life in a deeply personal and unforgettable way—a moment that became a defining turning point in my walk with Him. What I experienced that day was not simply a physical moment of deliverance, but a spiritual awakening that reshaped how I see God, life, and purpose. It was as though the Lord gently reminded me that my life was not my own, and that every breath I take is held within His mercy and sovereignty.

If you would like to read more of my reflection on this turning point, I share that testimony here: When the Miracle Isn’t What You Expected.

Since that day, my relationship with Christ has deepened in ways I find difficult to fully express in words. What once felt distant or routine has become deeply personal and alive. Scripture has taken on new meaning, prayer has become more honest and dependent, and my awareness of God’s presence has grown in both quiet and powerful ways. The Lord has used this renewed walk with Him to draw me closer, not through perfection, but through grace.

In the months that followed, God began opening doors I never anticipated. I began to preach, share my testimony, and teach Bible studies—opportunities that I did not seek for myself, but that God placed in front of me in His timing. Through these moments of ministry, He began to expand my heart in ways I did not expect. I found myself developing a deeper compassion for people who are hurting, struggling, or carrying burdens that are not always visible to others.

As I stepped into these new experiences, I began to see people differently. I began to understand more deeply the weight of brokenness that many carry silently. In those moments, I also became more aware of my own dependence on God—not only as a believer, but as someone who recognizes that every bit of strength, wisdom, and understanding comes from Him alone. It has given me, in a small but meaningful way, a glimpse of the Father’s heart toward His children as He walks with them through their valleys.

If you’d like to read more on my reflection back to how the Lord worked on me and in my life, I wrote about it here, When the Miracle isn’t what you expected.

Over time, the Lord also began to develop within me a gift for writing as I shared my testimony. What started as quiet reflection soon became expression, and expression has now grown into a burden. That burden is not heavy in the sense of being unbearable, but rather deeply meaningful—a God-given desire to reach those who feel lost, forgotten, discouraged, or spiritually exhausted.

It’s from that burden, and from a growing desire to share the hope found in Jesus Christ, that Our Threads of Grace was born.

Sharing my testimony and this ministry, exist for those who are walking through seasons where faith feels fragile, prayers feel unanswered, and hope feels distant. It is written for those who still believe but are tired; for those who are searching, but unsure where to turn; and for those who wonder if God still sees them in the middle of their pain.

The heart behind this space is simple: to point people back to Jesus Christ—the One who restores, redeems, and gently gathers the broken threads of our lives and weaves them into something new. Nothing in our story is wasted in His hands, as I experienced through my own testimony. Even the most painful seasons can become places where His grace is revealed in deeper ways than we ever expected.

My prayer is that as you read these words, you would not only learn about a story of faith and calling, but that you would be reminded of your own value in the eyes of God. You are not forgotten. You are not beyond hope. And your life, no matter how broken it may feel, is still held securely in the hands of a faithful and loving Savior.
